Over the summer I didn’t have a job, rather than babysitting unfortunately. The only reason for not having a job would be my age. Most places don’t accept 15 year olds. Instead I just babysat to earn money. Although, I have applied for a job at Shawnee Fitness in the daycare, and am still
waiting for them to call me.

There wasn’t any preparing needed, rather than getting supplies and other things like that. I was definitely more nervous my freshmen year rather than this year. This year, the only thing I was really nervous about, was who was going to be in my classes, if I had a lot of friends or not. I was definitely excited for this year because I was anxious to see my friends I hadn’t seen all summer. It’s also pretty exciting to see what classes you have. I didn’t have any readings or homework over summer because I didn’t take honors classes, if you do take honors classes you’ll most likely have to read a book over summer.
On my first day of school, I got a ride from a friend because I don’t have a car, sadly. I got their around 7:35, the first bell rings at 7:45. There is way more freedoms in high school. Most of the teachers are way more laid back than middle school, longer passing periods, you have nutrition break which is 10 minutes, you can actually chew gum, and other little things like that. The biggest difference between middle school and high school would probably have to be the freedom, it’s a major change.
